If you are looking for a "natural" musk scent, then Ambrette seeds would work great for you! Used in natural perfumes and can be blended in your essential oils for a great alternative to the synthetic musk. To tincture your ambrette seeds, just crush them using a mortar or pestle, or coffee grinder that you use to grind your herbs. If you're going to use a food processor to crush the seeds, make sure you clean it well. Tincture your seeds in a perfumers-grade alcohol. Use something that is at least 190 proof such as Everclear. Anything less than that will not give you the desired results. A good recipes is 25parts seed to 100 parts alcohol. Place in a Mason Jar with a tight fitting lid and shake daily. The tincture should be complete in 6 months or when you feel you have your desired results. Be sure to label your jar with the date began and weight of seeds and ounces used of alcohol so that you can use your same recipe again. Have fun!

Floral waxes are the fragrant waxy by-product of the process that turns Botanical Concretes Extracts into Absolutes. They are used in naturally scenting a wide variety of items including pomades, solid perfumes (for body and home), candles, soap, etc .... at a fraction of the cost of using absolutes or concretes.
1 oz of floral wax is equivalent to about 1/2 oz of the corresponding absolute.

This beautiful hydrosol has an intense exotic floral aroma. It has been produced by one of Spain’s oldest family owned distilleries.
Neroli hydrosol is wonderful for many cosmetic applications. For example, it is much gentler and more effective than many commercial skin toners. It can be the ingredient used in the water phase of lotion making. Blended with various powdered clays, it makes a wonderful facial mask. During hot summer days it can be placed into a spritzer bottle and used liberally to keep skin cool, plump and supple.
Upon receipt of your hydrosol it should be stored in the refrigerator. To avoid contamination do not touch the bottle rim or inside of the cap with your fingers and do not pour unused hydrosol back into the container. Also, avoid direct sunlight and extreme heat exposure for long periods of time.
Our Neroli Hydrosol has been laboratory tested for contaminants and shown to be purer than drinking water. It contains no additives or preservatives. A preservative may be added if you choose. We make no particular recommendations.
